Artist's Corner

“It’s really not difficult to measure those things that we need in order to exist in life against those things that we merely want. Much of what we think we want is fleeting – it will very soon be gone and forgotten. On the other hand, there are those things that have deeper meaning and a more lasting influence – things that lift and inspire us.

“We know the basics of what we need to stay alive and functioning – food, clothing, shelter, etc. We might need to contemplate a little more to come up with a list of all the things on the other side of the coin – possessions that are pretty much just “stuff.” With a little more consideration, we can compile a list of things that might fall between the two - things which rise above the mundane – that lift our spirits, inspire our hearts, and deepen our human experience. Our faith, our families, our country, our sense of truth and beauty: these are of lasting and immeasurable value.

“For me, sculpting and the process of creation are vital expressions that are also enduring and beyond price. In fine art, inspiring music, and great literature, among other sources of happiness, we discover joy that isn’t merely bigger than life – it’s as big as life should be. It is the divine in us that pushes us to forever seek the best that life has to off er and then strive to make it even better.”

I like your one of a kinds-- they seem very detailed for lost wax and bronze. Have you modified mediums? Hope the public loves them too!
